Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Director of Dietary Services to join our Washington state team.
As the Regional Director of Dietary Services, you will oversee all aspects of our dietary department for our Washington centers, ensuring the highest standards of nutrition, food safety, and service.
You will play a vital role in the overall well-being and satisfaction of our residents through coordinator with other departments.
Key
Responsibilities:
Menu Planning:
Develop and implement well-balanced, nutritious, and appetizing menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
Food Procurement:
Manage the purchasing of food and supplies while maintaining budgetary guidelines.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise dietary staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Dietary Assessment:
Conduct assessments of residents' dietary requirements and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure their needs are met.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including sanitation, food handling, and infection control.
Quality Control:
Monitor and maintain the quality and presentation of meals, addressing any concerns promptly.
Budget Management:
Manage the dietary services budget efficiently while delivering high-quality food and services.
Customer Service:
Foster positive relationships with residents and their families, addressing any concerns or special requests.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in dietary services, staying updated on industry best practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in a leadership role within dietary services in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Knowledge of dietary and nutrition regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Leadership experience in managing teams across multiple locations is a plus.
