-Upselling by suggesting additional items at the point of purchase -Thanking each customer for their purchase -Operate the POS (cash register) both efficiently and accurately. All items must b
e scanned in the POS and all sales rung up. -Follow all Cash, Debit, and Credit Card Procedures as per Company Policy -Operate the Lottery/Lotto terminal -Not exceeding your till amount as per Company Policy -Following all State, Federal and Company Policies on selling tobacco and alcohol -Count cigarettes, OTP (Other tobacco products), lottery, safe and register drawer at the beginning of your shift and at the end of your shift. Counts must be compared to the outgoing/incoming shifts and initialed -Complete shift report at the end of the shift -Protect Company Assets at all times -Keeping the store Clean, Organized and Stocked -Stocking all product -Clean restroom toilet, wall, floor, sink, vent and doors -Ensure that all Restroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, toilet seat covers and soap are stocked. -Sweep and mop floors -Clean shelves and racks -Clean all fountain, coffee, cappuccino and icee machines including nozzles and drip trays -All coffee condiments are clean and fully stocked -Clean, stock and organize all cooler floors, doors and product. -Clean all dispensers from top to bottom -Keep the forecourt and surrounding areas free from trash -Air and Water machine is clean and operating -Car Wash is clean and operating -All shelves and coolers are compressed and product is front faced -Ensure that all products in the store have a price and the price is accurate -Rotate the stock. First In First Out -Change bibs for fountain syrup -Follow correct procedure for checking in vendors -Change prices on the fuel price sign -Clean spill buckets -Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning product -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Knowledge and
