Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years experience working with children, preferably teaching preschool Experience in Early Childhood Education or working towards Teaching Certification Must be able to problem-solve and communicate in an effective way with parents and preschool planning board Must be able to lead children and their parents in following the expectations of the preschool Desire to be part of an exciting, community-based program We Offer:

Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare age- and developmentally-appropriate curriculum, including engaging daily activities that are sequenced throughout the year Lead the class and coordinate parent roles; serve as a model for parents in working with young children Maintain a balanced daily schedule including creative, physical, social, free-choice, and group activities that are interactive, hands-on, and enhance students' independence Spend class time observing, interacting, and participating in activities with the children Communicate with parents and other co-op teachers in a supportive and caring way Work independently with strong time-management skills Attend two monthly Wednesday evening meetings and quarterly special events Fulfill some commitments in Summer of 2014, including classroom set-up, training, and co- teacher planning Work closely with Edmonds Community College's Parent Educator assigned to the class How To Apply:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
