Extended Day Program Teacher (University District)
Qualifications Experience with and enthusiasm for working with young children Positive attitude and sense of humor Strong oral communication skills Patience and attentiveness Reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities Maintaining a safe environment for children on campus Planning and implementing daily projects and bimonthly all-day themed events Preparing daily snacks Foster behavior that is consistent with UCDS' mission as a community of mutual respect Persistent attention to students' social, emotional, and physical needs Keep EDP Director informed on students' daily highs and lows Hours 2-6 on weekdays; teachers MUST commit to at least three days per week, preferably more Tuesday afternoon availability a must Average of two 8-hour days per month (care during conferences, in-service training, etc.
