Work closely with the rest of the technical team to ensure that best practices are shared RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of the companys Java-based services stack.
QUALIFICATIONS A deep passion for automation A distinct operational mindset, as distinct from an 'feature-development' mindset Deep UNIX/Linux systems knowledge and/or systems administration background Strong trouble-shooting skills that span systems, network, and code Demonstrated programming skills in Java and one or more of the following:
Ruby, Python, etc.
Demonstrated experience writing and integrating with RESTful APIs Demonstrated experience interacting with MySQL or similar Prior experience in an internet-facing technical operations role Ability to pick up new software, frameworks and APIs quickly.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
