We just finished a complete remodel of an older hotel, and everything is brand new (and easy to clean).
We are looking to add a reliable and flexible person to add to our team! The Room Attendant cleans and prepares guest rooms by meeting high standards of cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction.
We are looking for a person who can excel in the role and who is committed to delivering excellent experiences for guests.
ABOUT US Hotel Leavenworth is a friendly, family-owned boutique hotel located in the heart of Leavenworth.
We have 16 guest rooms, an a lot of effort and creativity in making our hotel a great place to stay and to work.
CORE JOB DUTIES:
Remove and replace dirty towels and bedding with clean linens Clean and sanitize all areas of the guestrooms and hotel common areas Laundry and folding Restock linens and supplies Vacuum, dust, and mop SCHEDULE:
Part-time Approximately 4-7 hours per day, starting at 9:
15AM Must be available to work holidays and weekends, plus busy week days.
PAY:
Starting wage is $19 / hour, plus $250 New Hire Signing Bonus plus a Holiday Bonus in January
Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic cleaning principles - safe use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform all required cleaning duties.
Maintain a neat and clean appearance to represent the hotel positively.
Attention to detail and thoroughness to ensure room cleanliness standards are maintained.
Good time management.
Able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
Dependable with a good attendance record.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 lbs.
of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs.
of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs.
of force constantly to move objects.
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours and physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs; operation of vacuums weighing up to 25 lbs.
