We are searching for a H&S Business Analyst who will have significant business impact through direct involvement in customer metric reporting, data quality and operations support.
You will be responsible for providing data that supports the improvement of health and safety across AWS, advancing safety culture, and protecting our employees.
In this role, you should have the ability to think strategically and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills and to build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
This H&S Business Analyst should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to innovate and think big, while diving deep to meet our bar for quality and accuracy.
This is a remote position based in Washington State.
Key job responsibilitiesYou will be responsible for establishing dashboards, safety metrics, and reports to support the continual improvement of health and safety at AWS.
You will work in collaboration with construction, operations, compliance, corporate counsel, and human resources to further the health safety program.
You will work with legal and compliance teams to ensure full compliance of government and Amazon policies, as well as evaluation and recommendation of new ways of conducting business that can help improve health and safety.
About the teamThe AWS EHS team is an expanding and dynamic team that is critical to enabling AWS's growth around the world, as well as ensuring compliance of AWS's global operations, including physical data centers, as well as other AWS facilities, customer-facing enterprises and products.
The EHS team has responsibility for architecting and implementing AWS's global environmental and safety programs.
This includes defining and implementing risk management and compliance systems and driving their continuous improvement; setting and refining global policies and procedures; overseeing the development of standards, tools, auditing and metrics, and employee training; ensuring effective engagement by environmental and health & safety teams on global initiatives, including those that are part of Amazon's ambitious sustainability goals; providing specialist expertise; and engaging with all AWS business units to provide scalable and effective environmental and health & safety compliance strategies that support current and future business objectives while ensuring employee safety and compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
