Manager - Senior PM, AWS Localization

Job summaryThe AWS Localization team is responsible for translating billions of words per year into multiple languages.
We are seeking an experienced self-directed operations/release manager who is customer focused, detail oriented, and with strong organizational, collaborative, and communication skills to support the strategic direction of the AWS Localization team.
This is a high impact role for a candidate who will lead our localization production and release pipelines end-to-end; increase our operational efficacy; build predictability in the pipelines; measure success through data and stakeholder feedback.
The manager of Operations will manage a team of program managers passionate about enabling our international stakeholders to be successful through our localization program.
They will mentor and grow their team members to succeed at Amazon.
They will also manage an external team of operational staff, their assignments, measure success, and drive capacity planning.
Key job responsibilitiesLead a team of Operations PMs, partnering teams across AWS to define, plan and execute against the strategic priorities for AWS Localization.
Manage day-to-day operational activities; set team priorities and define execution success; report on team progress and business growth; manage opportunities that arise from a continuously growing business, and plan for future growth.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address future operational needs and volume.
Track KPIs against goals.
Ensure staff is working on the right programs and progress is tracked.
Reporting and analysis:
analyze data and report key operational trends.
Manage existing operational dashboards and drive creation of new features.
Create baseline metrics/reports to support the development of new practices and goals as necessaryRun team operational reviews:
prepare regular reviews as needed, manage document writing and data collection.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
