Lead Teacher (Renton)
Shooting star Preschool and Child Care is looking for a Full time Lead Teacher to join our team.
Shooting Star is located in the Renton Highlands area.
We are a small child care center that cares for children 1 month to 12 years.
Position Requirements/Preferences:
Enjoys working as part of a team & is flexible about assigned duties.
Ability to speaks and write fluent English.
Is organized, creative, energetic & dependable.
Enjoys working with children of diverse backgrounds.
Understands the varied & necessary developmental stages of Toddler and Preschool aged children Must be able to create and implement a weekly curriculum Experience working with children ages 12months to 5 years in a child care setting ECE education or current CDA Minimum 2 years' experience as a Lead Teacher in a child care setting Must be able to get on and off the floor Has the ability to lift 25lbs Current on all STARS/MERIT training's Current & cleared TB test Professional appearance Reliability is essential
