P/T Adult Basic Education/GED Prep Instructor (Renton)

P/T Adult Basic Education/GED Prep Instructor needed for worker retraining program.
This position may be converted to working at-home, but preference will be given to those that can come to our school in Renton.
Duties include working one-on-one over the Internet with remote students.
Students are typically beginners looking to gain skills to become employable in an office setting.
Professional and courteous interactions with students, faculty, and staff.

Ethics, integrity, and sound professional judgment.
Commitment to professional development.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Use a variety of instructional strategies appropriate to the needs of learners.
Integrate the use of technology into instruction.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and achievements.
Conduct and document ongoing classroom student assessment MS Office Skills in Word, Excel, required.
Teaching experience preferred, but not required.
Spanish/English speaking preferred, but not required.
A friendly and professional demeanor is required This is a part time non-exempt position.
Criminal background check may be conducted on prospective employees.
Annual salary:
DOE.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
