Software & Report Developer for Business Software (Kenmore, WA)
Description Goals and Objectives:
Create and modify reports for business software utilizing Report Builder and SQL Server.
Requires working with customers to fully understand needs and deliver reports that meet or exceed their needs.
Define and Build Dashboards and Reports for business software using HTML5 and Javascript web technologies Develop mobile and web products that work with High5 enterprise software system for service companies.
Build interfaces between High5 products and leading software and web solutions Contribute to users being delighted with our products Stimulate a user community of sharing best practices and uses of our products and reports Activities to accomplish the goals:
Start in technical support to get a deep understanding of our products and customer needs Work with High5 and customers to define report and dashboard needs Create complex SQL queries and web service interfaces to extract data from SQL database for use in reporting, dashboards, and new products.
Develop reports and dashboards using web and mobile technologies such as HTML5, Javascript, jQuery Mobile, and third party reporting tools Plan and develop new web-based and mobile customer solutions using agile development Conduct testing of new products and releases.
Prior Work Experience or skills Problem solving Customer service Knowledge with business software, SQL, databases, reporting tools, QuickBooks, accounting, or Field service business is desired.
Must either have a college degree or equivalent experience in programming and computer science.
Skills required include software development and understanding of reporting.
Specific Skill areas desired SQL Queries using Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012 or PostGreSQL Development solutions such as HTML5, Javascript, CSS, ,Net, MVC, jQuery, and/or jQuery Mobile Reporting and dashboard tools QuickBooks, Accounting, CRM, ERP, or Enterprise software.
HighCharts, Crystal Reports, Report Builder, Jasper Reports, Excel or other reporting tools Salary depends on experience or education.
Work in our Kenmore, WA office north of Seattle.
