ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician (Redmond)

We are currently seeking a Behavior Technician who can work with an adolescent in Redmond.
Job Summary Job Duties Teach academic, cognitive, social-emotional, and adaptive skills to children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
Address challenging behaviors under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Collect accurate and reliable data.
Receive supervision from BCBAs / clinical supervisors.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
Comply with the company's administrative and clinical policies.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by earning continuing education credits.
Essential Qualifications Completion of a) a minimum of twelve (12) semester hours of college coursework and currently enrolled in a course of study leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, human development or related fields; or b) a minimum of 48 semester hours (or their equivalent) of college coursework in an accredited college or university; or c) five hundred (500) hours of experience in ABA techniques.
Reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check Preferred Qualifications Completion of 40 hours of classroom instructions on Applied Behavior Analysis.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
